If you settle your full balance on the payment due day selected, no interest will be charged on your purchases made during the period indicated on your Credit Card statement.

You can see your credit limit in your pre-agreement document, as well as on all your Credit Card statements and in the TymeBank App.

You can download the TymeBank App from your iOS or Android App stores. You can manage your account and do the following:

  • Check your balance and available credit
  • Check your payment amount due and date
  • View your latest transactions
  • Download statements (retrieve maximum of 6 months’ latest statements)
  • View your card status

All the above actions can also be done via internet banking.

Payments made before the cut-off times will take 2 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) to reflect and payments made after the cut-off times will take 3 working days to reflect.

Cut-off times:

  • Mon – Fri 3 pm
  • Sat – 12 pm
  • Sun – no banking day

Your instalment is paid via a debit order or from your TymeBank account. It’s easy to set up. You simply give us permission to deduct the instalment from your account every month.

Here’s how:

  • Internet Banking: select Bill Payment > Credit Card > TymeBank CreditCard > then follow the instructions on the screen to pay.
  • IOS App: select Move Money > Pay Your Accounts > tap on Pay an Account and select TymeBank CreditCard > then follow the instructions on the screen to pay.
  • Android/Huawei App: select Pay > Bill Payment > Credit Card > TymeBank CreditCard > then follow the instructions on the screen to pay. Alternatively, you can simply select Credit Card from the main dashboard > Pay off Credit Card and follow the instruction on the screen to pay.

You’ll receive it via email or SMS each month.

When you use your TymeBank CreditCard online, a one-time pin (OTP) will be sent to your mobile phone or email address that you registered with us.

Your Credit Card instalment will be covered if you find yourself in one of the following circumstances:

  • In the result of death or permanent disability, your full outstanding balance will be settled.
  • In the result of temporary disability or loss of income, you will be covered for up to 12 months’ instalments.

You can withdraw cash up to a maximum of R3 000 a day at any ATM or PnP till, depending on your available credit.

No fees are charged when you receive a purchase notification or swipe your card at a till or use it online.

Yes, if you are not an existing TymeBank customer, your Credit Card comes with a FREE “Just Met” TymeBank profile. We will set it up and send you a welcome SMS/email with instructions on what happens next. Follow the instruction to set up your login details and you are good to go.

When you receive your card, call us on 0861 007 250 to activate your card and receive your PIN.

Unfortunately, we are not accepting any secondary credit card applications at this time. We will communicate when this is available in future.

Yes. When you make a purchase of R200 or more, you can select at the till to spread the repayments over an affordable term of 6 to 36 months.
