1.6 “Partners” and “Third Parties” include credit providers, lead recipients, intermediaries, advertisers, analytics providers, and external platforms linked from or integrated with the Site.
1.7 “POPIA” means the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. -

Scope of this Policy
3.1 This Policy applies to personal information collected when you browse the Site, use tools on the Site, contact us, or submit a Lead.
3.2 This Policy does not apply to Third Party websites, apps, services, or platforms that may be linked from the Site or that receive your information after a Lead is shared with them.
3.3 Partners and Third Parties process personal information under their own privacy notices, terms, and compliance obligations. You should review those before engaging further. -
Eligibility and children
4.1 The Site is intended for users aged 18 or older.
4.2 If you are under 18, do not use the Site and do not submit any personal information through it.
4.3 We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
4.4 If we reasonably believe personal information relating to a person under 18 has been submitted through the Site without lawful authority, we may delete that information or take other reasonable compliance steps. -

5.2 Where you submit a Lead, data collected may include: loan amount; loan type; name; South African ID number; date of birth; contact number; email address; city/town; employment details; monthly income; employment contact number; credit status indicators (including bad credit); debt review status; and preferred contact time.
5.3 If you contact us about a complaint, listing correction, takedown request, or data request, we may collect your identity details, contact details, authority documents, and any supporting evidence you provide.
5.4 We do not require payment card details from users for access to the Site or for submission of Leads, because these Services are offered free to users on the Site. -
Information collected automatically
6.1 When you access the Site, certain technical and usage information may be collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, and general interaction data.
6.2 This information may be collected through server logs, analytics tools, cookies, and similar technologies.

Lawful basis for processing
9.1 Where you voluntarily submit a Lead or otherwise provide information to us, we process that information on the basis that it is necessary to provide the services you requested and, where applicable, on the basis of your consent to the processing and sharing described in this Policy and the Terms.
9.2 We may also process personal information where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating, improving, securing, monetising, and administering the Site, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights under applicable law.

Lead sharing and partner disclosures
10.1 When you submit a Lead through the Site, you request to be contacted about credit-related products or services and you authorise us to share your Lead with one or more Partners.
10.2 Partners may use the information you provide to evaluate your request, contact you, assess product suitability, or present products or services that may be relevant to your enquiry.
10.3 By submitting a Lead, you consent to being contacted by us and/or Partners using the details you provided, by reasonable channels typically used for this purpose, such as phone call, SMS, and email.
10.4 We do not control how Partners process your personal information after it has been shared with them, and their processing is governed by their own privacy practices, legal obligations, and internal policies.
10.5 You should review the privacy notices and terms of any Partner before proceeding with any application, agreement, or further engagement. -
When we may disclose personal information
11.1 We may disclose personal information to Partners and service providers where this is necessary to operate the Site, process Leads, provide requested services, or support analytics, hosting, communication, security, or administrative functions.

How to make a privacy request or complaint
18.1 To submit a privacy-related request, correction request, deletion request, objection, or complaint, email info@loansfind.co.za.
18.2 Please include enough detail for us to identify you, understand the request, and verify that you are entitled to make it.
18.3 We may request reasonable identity verification before disclosing, changing, deleting, or restricting access to personal information.
18.4 Complaints about personal information processing may be directed to us first and, where applicable, may also be escalated to the Information Regulator under POPIA. -
Cross-border processing
