About Credit Matters
We took the initiative of opening our doors in 2007 when the National Credit Act was not happy with the manner in which people were spending money.
There was no sense of financial discipline whatsoever. It was then that we introduced debt review to make things slightly better for clients.
Trusted and skilled brokers
We know that our people have the required skill and knowledge to give our clients a new financial start. Prior to using the last money you have to cover debts and credit cards, let us first establish if there isn’t an alternative way of ensuring that you are out of debt for good.
Help is on the way
The agents that we have will never leave you to struggle on your own. We will complete a debt consolidation solution that will make you pay your monthly debts in an affordable and reasonable manner.

We are the professionals when it comes to debt counselling services in SA
For starters, there is nothing wrong with shouting for a little help. If anything, it is better than sinking in debts and payday loans.
Since we know that the customers that come to us often need debt counselling, we will get right on it immediately. This is because we want to help you do better when it comes to your finances.
How do I get there?
If you really want help, you will have to give us a call and we will set up an appointment to meet one of our brokers. After this, we will have to assess your situation to see the remedial causes that have to be implemented. Furthermore, we will need certain documentation to be able to process your application. These include your proof of payment, proof of remuneration, ID copy and marriage certificates if you are married in a community of property.
Lastly, we will need proof of declarations from credit providers to see how you have been paying.
After all of this information has been submitted to us, we will then be able to determine if you need to be taken for debt counselling or debt review. It is never an automated answer but something that has to be premeditated. The last step is consolidated debt where you will be paying for all your debts at once on a lower instalment. The advantage is the fact that it is the lessor and once you are finished paying all your debts, you will be cleared and given a brand new start. Credit Matters will make sure that we give you the right kind of guidance so that you never make the same financial mistakes again.
